COACHING WRITERS:
Most of us learned to write in our early school years and so the idea of not knowing “how” to write seems absurd. The trouble is that the envisioned novel, poetry book, or memoir is still not yet finished, or started. In fact, the short story idea is scribbled on a napkin somewhere and the poem only has a title.
So might you consider that the writing process you were taught is, if nothing else, outdated. Maybe it was also limiting, especially when it come to creative writing, and particular limited in the “creative” aspects of the process. I was lucky enough to study with some professors who have opened up the pedagogy of creative writing. Their wisdom fell right into step with what I had already learned about the creative and intuitive processes, as both a visual artist and a Reiki Master. And so, a GeniusWork approach to writing that can open up the writing of those looking to break through their old writing process, into a process that is fluid, flowing, and fun! Oh my!
